Tell Tales of a Jaded mongrel
Meghna Das
2/2
Between soft ocean waves and city lights A jaded mongrel, went telling tales of the world we tamed under the moonlight's shine:
To 'salvage your sanity' is what one would forge against reality Is this an ideal escape to peace or savagery?
A man that seeks sanctuary from a deity of a broken crown. Can this man be saved when he is bound to drown?
A rage born under a bridge belonging to excessive greed The fulcrum of friends and foes is where all ends meet
Now this is a chase of a particular kind Where a boon forgoes a bane Where one struggles to stay sane Where mirrors speak blinded truths Where, deep within lies a forgotten youth
A place borne to mourn humanity To insert a chaos of absolute insanity To reincarnate a blind man to only plead to the deaf To save a man whose heart is in shreds
Here, One's jackpot is another's awaited revenge While others promise a world of freedom with their pledge Oral echoes ache of unspoken history
While men repeat the same mistakes in agony
Now this is life's intensive circle of fate!!!!
